Party Time

Taylor had the BEST time at her party, we all did. It really was a fabulous time, all her friends turned up apart from 2 that were unable to come. It was wild, fun and full of little girls laughing. We started off with a few games, hot potato with balloons, freeze dance, dodge ball and egg & spoon race. We sat down for our elegant tea party and enjoyed yummy food, treats and tea (sprite, after a little thought orange soda was switched. We didn't want all our pretty girls with orange mustaches).
We had about 30 minutes at the end to just run and play outside.
Her cake was gorgeous and everyone used their best princess voices to sing Happy Birthday.
Taylor got some fabulous presents, she loves all of them and I was very pleased that she thanked everyone very politely after each gift and enjoyed showing off her new things before moving on to the next. She has some wonderful friends, and her gifts were so thoughtful.
Out of the 8 only 5 wanted to join in the 3 legged race, they were all ready and then all of a sudden 3 got nervous and asked to be "released". I was a little worried that someone was going to be left out and then had the perfect idea, put three together, it was so funny. Masie and Faith zoomed pass and won the race, but those three little girls laughed so hard trying to get to the finish. What great memories:-)
All the girls had fun with the presents, they thought it was so cool when I said they could sit on the table. It was just adorable, all the girls got on perfectly and enjoyed each others company.
Pass the parcel was a great hit, everyone won a prize (I wonder how that happened?). The time went all too quickly but everyone had the best time, what a great birthday party!!!
We decided to take Taylor out to Chilli's for her birthday dinner, it was so funny she begged me to tell the waitress it was her birthday. I'm so glad I did as they all got together and wished her a happy birthday, they clapped and shouted so everyone could hear. It was a great moment, especially because we weren't expecting it and Chris nearly jumped out of his seat when they came up behind him yelling and clapping. She got a yummy hot brownie with ice cream.
Taylor got this collectible doll called falalalaloopsy or something crazy like that, she took her to dinner. She must have been watching the movie Dennis at some point because she asked her daddy to close his eyes and kiss her doll, and then she did this:
Oh my goodness, she was laughing so hard!!!
Happy Birthday sweet Taylor!!!!
