Foto Friday- A Little Late

Sorry its late but Cinderella had to get ready for the Ball!

Friday- Hailey helping me stir the soup for lunch, all my kids love to help in the kitchen (I wouldn't really call it "help" but they have to learn somehow) Saturday- We went to the Rodeo, it was a lot of fun but we left early as Masie and Hailey were getting fed up and Taylor had just spilt a bottle of water on the lady in front of us, never a dull moment. Sunday- I tried to get a picture of this humming bird on our gorgeous flowers but Masie fell and hurt her knee so this is all I got:( Monday- We didn't attend the award ceremony (No we didn't go on a date instead, how dare you accuse me) for Masies next green belt so she was presented it in class on Monday. Well Done Masie, Level 2 green belt. Tuesday- Lovely Mango being as cute as ever in the doll stroller, love this bunny. Wednesday- Mason and Hailey are now in Pre K, so we are doing some extra fun things to get them ready, here they are reading a book to the group, they love this and its so great for their confidence and imagination. Thursday- The girls and I went to get our nails done, we had a great girlie evening and LOVE our nails. So as you know mine didn't last long, they were so pretty but seriously they weren't me, I couldn't do anything and my creams kept getting stuck under them. Expensive lesson, but I did enjoy them at the Ball.

You are What you Eat

Taylor is having serious issues, I do not no what to do with her. This happened a few years ago when she was in pre-school and our tack tick worked. Basically she is getting grumpy almost all the time and is having tantrums about the most silly things. Right now I'm listening to her screaming and crying because I tried to lift her from the bed and she turned away from me so I walked away, Its been going on for almost an hour now and she just wont stop. Ive tried a few things and have now just sent her to her room until she has finished.

If someone laughs at her, which is not funny I know but she totally loses it and cries and screams. If you tell her off or punish her, my god she can not handle it and will cry for hours!! Ive come to the conclusion that you are what you eat, not that she has a particularly bad diet but she doesn't have the best either so I'm cutting her off. Well actually I'm cutting us all off. I did this for her a few years ago and within a week I saw a huge change in her behaviour. No chips, cookies, sugared cereal etc etc. We shall see if it helps, man I hope so. We are going on an hour and 15 minutes now and she is slowing down.

SNCO Induction Ceremony

I'm so very proud of my husband, he has made his way to the "other" side in the Military, he is now part of the Senior NCO's. Although he wont sew on until next year, they celebrated all the new inductees. My sexy Master Sergeant of the US Air Force!! I'm a proud wife!!

Cinderella went to the Ball!! I was so very excited to go to this Ball and I had the best time, it was so much fun and a special evening. This picture was taken after I escorted Chris through the Sabers (tunnel of swords), which I will say didn't go as planned. I thought they took the picture at the beginning so I was all smiles and then we carried on walking and then "Flash" damn it, have no idea what kind of face I was pulling,lol.

Each guest was given a Military coin.

Getting our Nails done

I just love spending time with my girls, we are went to get our nails done and it was a lovely girlie afternoon. They loved it more as the chairs they sat in to get their toes nails done message your back.

So Whats Been Going On??

I felt like I haven't blogged in forever, partly because the last few times I have blogged I have done a few at the same time and scheduled it to post whenever I want and partly because I haven't had anything much to blog, maybe if I downloaded my camera I could find something but its on charge right now. Anyway, I got hold of the head of Special Education today and told her that I was really upset that Hailey's time was coming to an end and I haven't gotten her in another pre school as they are all full. She asks me for her name and then looked up her file and came back and said "but Hailey isn't affect by the new guidelines" "WTF!!!?????" Seriously, I told her that she must have the wrong file because I was personally told that she was, she replies "she was the first few weeks and then the criteria changed". Don't you just love the communication!!! I had the teacher make sure the information was correct, it is in fact correct "for now", what that means I don't know so we shall see.

Doesn't Welly look gorgeous!! I love him!!OK anymore news? Um, Taylor lost another tooth and can ride a two wheeler bike, Hailey can ride her spider man bike by herself, see I have posts to get ready. Daycare is going great, I'm really enjoying my kids. Oh check this out, someone drove up this morning with their child walking towards us (we knew her from 1st grade but she wasn't a friend of Masie's) and said "She wanted to walk with you guys this morning" and then drove off. Seriously, some people are so rude!!

I'm hosting a pampered chef party tomorrow, I have come a long way with my anxiety, I would NEVER consider this in the past, I'm excited. Well I will be when people show up and I'm not sitting at the table alone,lol.

And Guess What??

I'm going to a Ball on Friday, OMG this is crazy, I'm nervous and excited, I think I'm more excited though. Again, how good is my anxiety? I have a new dress and some accessories, I'm getting my nails done on Thursday evening (hopefully I wont mess the up in less than 24 hours). Its all because my very clever husband made Master Sergeant and its a celebration Ball.

Book Review- The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane

The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo

This was a really good book that both me and the girls enjoyed. It was about a China rabbit learning to love and have emotions along his long journey. Not everyone like Edward (the rabbit) and this caused him to get "lost" several times. He was found by different people and built new relationships. It was a fun, exciting, sad but overall a great book!!! Masie has now stolen my Kindle so she can read it again by herself.

Book Review- Breaking Dawn

Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer

F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S!!! This is my most favourite book of the Twilight Saga, so much happens in this book, it keeps me entertained the whole time. We have the wedding and honey moon, the pregnancy and birth. Bellas transformation, and the whole new life with the baby and wolves etc. Then of course you have the dramatic ending which just keeps you on your toes the whole time, really enjoyed reading it a second time, I missed quite a bit.

Cant WAIT for the movies to come out.

Foto Friday

Friday- Is it just me or does everyone have dinosaurs in with there dishes? Saturday- After Masie's testing the rain started to pour, it doesn't take much to flood here as we have bad drains and our soil acts like a dry sponge. Outside our house there was a flowing river going down the road, the girls had a blast playing in it.

Sunday- Hailey decided that her frog needed a bath, so she grabs a pencil box and fills it and my floor with water, and in goes the frog.

Monday- Hailey and Levi playing nicely in the sand box. Tuesday- Hailey did NOT want to get up, so she took her stuff to the floor. Wednesday- Masie's first homework of third grade! She was given a real fun homework called 'The Me Bag' it had to contain everything that was important to her and made her special. It had to be between 7-10 items and had to fit in the bag. Thursday- Baby Estella was having a story by Hailey, such a lovely baby.

Estella

Our new lovely lady, Estella. She is almost 3 months and started with us last week. She is the best baby and we just Love her. She is a happy little thing, its nice to have a baby around again. Its also nice to hand her back at the end of the day,lol.

Testing

Masie tested for the second level green belt on Saturday, she is brilliant at what she does and as they were practicing she really impressed us. Once the testing started, she changed into this "I cant be bothered" mode. Her form was right but rushed and her sparring was almost embarrassing, harsh words I know but seriously her arms were like spaghetti her attention was else where and she kept being reminded to keep her proper form. We spoke with her after and she was upset when I told her that I would like the judges to fail her so she could do it properly on Wednesday and show them what she could really do. I then showed her the video and she was embarrassed by her performance, but they passed her anyway. Hopefully next time she will be better focused. Don't get me wrong, she deserves the belt, she is fabulous at it, but that's not what she showed the judges.

AGAIN

I was on the phone with my Mum earlier when I went to clear the table for lunch, all of a sudden I see little bits of blond hair everywhere. OMG, I shouted Hailey and asked if she cut her hair, her response was "yeah, is that OK?" I couldnt help but smile (not at her) it could have been a lot worse but this has to stop, its the second time she has done this now.

First Day of School

It has been a long and wonderful summer but it had to end sometime, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to them going back to school. They have started arguing and getting bored so I they were ready too. We are looking forward to a great year, I'm excited for them all to start this new chapter. 3rd for Masie, she is nervous as its the BIG kid hallway but she is definitely ready. 1st for Taylor and she is not nervous as she has her best friends with her and Ms Reed. Hailey can not wait to go, she is afternoons now so she has to wait a while to go, hopefully we will know whats going on with her school very soon.

Two Best Friends

Hannah and Taylor have been together since Pre-school, they are so sweet together and have the best fun. Hannah is a lovely little girl, we just found out that they will be in 1st grade together as well!! So exciting.

Masie's 8TH Birthday

Finally doing the birthday post, only a few days late so not bad really!! I was a little nervous for this one as her birthday fell on the first day back with all the kids and the new baby. I asked her if she wanted to celebrate it on another day but she wanted it on her actual birthday. So I did what I needed to do and she had a fabulous time. She invited a few friends over in the morning for a few games and cake.

I finally found her a Popple!! She loves mine and was sad when you couldn't buy them anymore (good Ole Ebay)Too many present pictures to blog, she got so many lovely gifts, and birthday money too!
