CloudCroft

We decided to be spontaneous, we packed up and drove to CloudCroft. We picked a trail and just went for it.

 It was a fun afternoon, most of our laughs were at Hailey.  OMG she is my Sister, yes you Maxine. She whined the whole time "My legs hurts" "I'm tired" etc etc.

 We were all fascinated with these plants, they were all over, its not very often we see color here.

We had to turn back shortly after Hailey "lost her walk" (If you look carefully you can kind of see her).  With us all looking together we found her walk so we could go home.


Oh how this trip reminded me of my childhood, good times.

A Little Catch Up

Masie was in a school play the other day and she did so well. She was the baby goat and said her lines loud, clear and with passion

 She was also a Monkey, well actually she was 3 Monkey's. Everyone LOVED the shirts.

 A sight I never wanted to see, Masons stuff all packed up:( End of an Era, I have 4 days left with Makayla and then I have officially finished daycare.

 Masie was also in the Talent show, she did TKW with a little dance, she pulled it off like a pro.  This kid loves the stage.

A Fun School Day

Masies' grade had a field trip planned, it was to watch a four hour long baseball game in 90 degree weather, with no shade and no access to water.  Some found this exciting, masie did not. I wasnt going to let her go anyway as masie dehydrates quicker than most on a normal day. So I kept her home, her friends Faith and Nikki decided they wanted to join in the fun too.

 We all packed up and went for a picnic in the park, we had a great time.

 Hailey found this Lizard, I think its so funny the different wild life you find depending where you live. Seeing Lizards are far from rare here but in England they are non existent.

 So I throw a marshmallow at Masie and it turned into a huge fight, it was brilliant! We laughed and ran until we were exhausted.

 We had no choice but drive to the nearest ice-cream shop to cool down.

What a great school day!

Balloons for You

Hi Nanny, we decided to release the balloons tonight so we could spend the time remembering you and not have to rush. We all read our notes to you. Masie: To Nanny Barker, I miss you so much, when I said goodbye to you I didn't think it would mean forever. You will always be in my heart. Love Masie

 We said our goodbyes and let our balloons go and we watched them fly to heaven

 Hailey was a little attached to her balloon so hers will be a few minutes late:-)

Time is near

The time is near, soon I wont be finding cute pictures like these on my camera after not downloading it for ages.

 How can you be happy, sad, excited, nervous, overwhelmed all at the same time?

Summary Sunday = Fail

My sister and I have decided we are much too busy to carry on with our Summary Sunday posts, here are the few pictures I took this week to share.

Its a fight every morning to brush Hailey's hair, I might shave it off while she is sleeping one day.

 My house is being re-shingled, update on that when its done.

 Hailey and Mason were registered for Kindergarten today.

 Rexy Roo Roo loves his Daddy, he is such a fat poodle.
