Poor Welly
Welly got sick:( I noticed that he had a runny nose and his breathing was sounding like a whistle. I took him to the vet and he has a respiratory infection. He has to get 3 shots, his first one was today and he did not like it. When they were examining him, he peed all over the place. When they tried to inject him, he went in his shell and refused to give them his leg, poor baby:(

Oh poor Welly! Maybe he needs glasses like Taylor? No? Hmm...well it's your blog. No but really I was seriously wondering how they would give a turtle ohhh tortoise? Shelled Creature a shot.
ReplyDeleteI have a question. Did you take that picture in secret or did they know you were photographing a Shelled Creatures appointment like he was your child? Also, I just thought but how do you *know* that Welly is a boy?

ReplyDeleteWell I had my camera in my pocket the whole time and wanted to snap a picture in secret but the room was too small and had 4 people init. I got all brave and just asked if they mind if I took a picture. They were real nice about the weirdo with the camera,lol.
Oh and he/she is a little young to know for sure the sex, for some reason I always call him a boy but we are pretty sure its a girl. Its all about the shape of the tail and spurrs etc.
Cool - you always teach me knew animal things :-) I love it. I'm glad you took the picture. It's so sad but I wish I had a shell to curl up and hide in sometimes too so I can't blame -her- for using it. Welly - a her...that is weird since we have all called her a him for so long :-)
