Couldn't You Just Eat Her Up?

This is the cutest devil child EVER. We got her hair cut yesterday because of her giant fits in the mornings and she LOVES it. We also went shopping and got a few new outfits and I could have eaten her up this morning, so I took pictures so you could enjoy the view.

Road Trip- Part Two of Three

Puke

I know its a weird title and I'm sure you are wondering why this would count as a blog post in the first place but it was so funny. Let me share the story:

We are in Wyoming and leave the hotel at 6am, we are starving and the hotel breakfast started later so we went to McDonald's. We ate and then hit the road again, 20 minutes later Hailey made a sound and I turned around to her puking on her pillow pet, yuck!! I don't want it to get all over the car so I hold her pillow pet in place so it wouldn't drip anywhere else, which it worked apart from I got a little on my hand. I didn't tell Chris but I guess he saw the way I was holding my hand and in a calm but anxious voice he says "put your hand down!" I said "I cant I got puke on it" and laughed so hard because Chris has a very weak stomach. I could see him gaging but this just set me off louder and I put my hand towards him,lol. Luckily we were then at the rest stop and Chris Jumps out to puke and I start cleaning Hailey up. I bag everything up and Chris comes back just as I am knocking off the lumps onto the ground, this starts the gaging off again and we both just laugh and laugh. Then I look inside the Apple Jacks box and say"I'm not sure if she got any in here" and I put my hand in the box. (I knew she hadn't got anywhere near it but Chris's face was Classic!!!) Hailey reloads her stomach and we get on our way.

There is never anywhere healthy to eat on a road trip and my kids were having withdrawals. We stop off at Wendy's as its was the only place for hours and Taylor says "Mummy, I really don't want to eat a burger or chicken nuggets, please can I order a salad?" And so she did and loved it.

Road Trip Home- Part One of Three

Build A Bear On the way home we decided to do a few things along the way, we left Grandma and Papas around lunch time and headed up to Billings Montana. We found the Build A Bear and OMG did we have the BEST time EVER. We all got a little excited and I let them get a bunch of accessories for their new friends, $160 later we leave.
The ladies in there helping us were so wonderful and added to our special outing. After each of the girls stuffed their bear and added the heart they were ready to be bathed.

Before we registered their births on the computer we got them all dressed up. Hailey dressing her new Blizzard Bear "Hailey".

Masie chose a smurf which is so cute, she named him "Brainy", don't you love the glasses she picked out.Very happy little girls.

Book Review- New Moon

New Moon by Stephenie Meyer

Didnt think I could be as on edge reading this when I have already read the book before and seen the movie. I love this book, Jacob really comes into the lime light in this book and everyone loves Jacob!! When Bella and Alice race to save Edward from Italy I was actually shaking!! Can not get enough. On to the next:-)

Happy 4th Birthday Hailey

Crazy Sleepers

I'm so glad I didn't have to sleep with all these wiggly worms, started off nice and calm and then.... This happened, funny cousins.

Montana Trip

So after we realized it was imposable to go and see everyone by plane because of the $$'s we decided to drive the 25 hours from Alamogordo NM to Havre MT by car. A little nervous to see how the kids would cope but we packed up the car and took off. I snapped this picture about 10 minutes or so after we started. We started at 5.30am so everyone was a little sleepy.

We have never been up for a sunrise before so this was really cool to see.

The scenery was different along the way.

Oh and then we pass a car towing a trailer and they threw up a huge rock that smashed our window.

After 11 hours we decided to stop in Casper Wyoming and found a hotel with a pool, we had a good time swimming and burning off some energy. The girls were absolutely fabulous, we left at 6.30am the next morning and arrived at 2.30pm that afternoon. A very pleasant trip, we drove through 4 states and we didn't have one tantrum!!!

Book Review- A Stolen Life

A Stolen Life by Jaycee Lee Dugard

What can I say apart from Jaycee is a wonderful young lady and a fantastic Mother, she did what she needed to do to survive and raise her children. What Philip did to her was disgusting, I cried a few times in the book and can only imagine what she went through. Nancy is just as sick for letting this happen, such an awful story but a happy ending.

Part Three-Sandia Trams

We completed our trip away with a ride up the mountains, absolutely beautiful but a tad scary being pulled up a mountain in a heavy metal car on a wire. Cute little Hailey or "Egg" as she likes to be called these days.

Four very cute, very adorable, very lovely little girls.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch and had a laugh when the manager ran out behind us saying we didn't pay the whole bill. Oh was she mad, as she stormed off I hope learnt a valuable lesson. You cant tell people how much to tip, they added the tip in the bill and demanded that it was paid. NO! If the service is great, we tip great but you don't give an OK service and tell me what to pay you.
