San Antonio, Part One

This is going to be one hell of a post, so sit back with a cup of tea and enjoy.
The kids love it when we play around with their toys, we make them speak and act naughty, it entertained us all for a few minutes of our 10 hr journey.
Hailey was so tired but her head kept falling down, this pot of pringles did the trick.
Our long trip paid off when we got to our hotel, it was very grand and beautiful, we were hoping to see some ghosts but only a few little things happened that were probably in our heads.

First group photo taken.
We went out to the river walk to find some dinner, it was great just to sit and chat with some great food.

Ghost hunting
They had a really cool strip of things for us to do, this electric chair was so funny. We attempted the haunted house as a group of 7 but came out a group of 5.  Taylor was absolutely terrified after the first minute, she did a few blood curdling screams and then Nanny to the rescue, she took her back out and when we were finished her breathing was nearly normal.

Chris made us go a a very boring bus tour, at least there were a few nice sites through the ghetto and the highway, lol.

Rainforest Cafe, this has to be a fail for us unfortunately.  I hate to say it and I will absolutely try it again but maybe it was the wrong night. We had a great time in the gift shop but the food and service wasn't great and that for me makes up for a lot of points. I was very disappointed as this was the one thing I wanted to experience:(

These vents were all over the town and Hailey thought they were brilliant as it blew her skirt up.  It was so funny, was also funny when Mum accidentally walked over one in her dress.

Grandad and his girlies
You have to dance on the street you know
The Alamo! Chris and Dad took the tour, and me, Mum and the girls escaped the boringness after about 37 seconds.

The hotel pool was a great size, we had way too much fun in here. Hailey was extremely confident in the pool which was good and bad as she kept jumping in when we weren't looking.

Grandad was the best in the pool, the girls just loved playing with him. I cant believe that he taught Taylor to swim above water, under water and between three peoples legs in about 5 days.
Gotta love action shots
Yep, that's my Dad

More San Antonio to come.
