Happy Places

I am very lucky to have a few happy places, one of them is being with my Mum.

Here we are messing around in the pool with our ice cold Pina Colada, ohhh yum yum yummy.

4th of July

We started our celebration making smores, or in the words of my Mum "smurfs".  She couldn't for the life of her say smores, it was the funnest thing.

 Pablo and Rex begged us for a smore, without chocolate of course.

 Pablo just loves holidays, he thinks all of them are us celebrating him, he goes crazy every.single.time. He he is playing in his pool (yes my dogs have a pool).

 "Oh this is so fun, all I can do is RUN" I love this dog.

 Nanny and "Egg" just in case I haven't blogged this before and people don't think I have completely lost it, a few months ago Hailey decided her nick name was Egg. It has slowly started to catch on.

Total BlackOut

If anyone has seen the TV show Total Blackout then they will appreciate this evening activity. The girls were excited, well beyond excited to play this with Nanny and Grandad.  I set up the games, the first round was the "feel" test. Its harder than it looks when you are blind folded, your mind plays tricks on you. There were 4 boxes, bath toys in water, Apple jacks, cotton balls and cooks noodles in water. Masie and Chris went first.

Lastly Grandad and Hailey, Hailey was terrified at the beginning, she started screaming. It was the funnest time ever.

After that round we did the "taste" test, this was even funner. Being blind folded and having someone put random food in your mouth can be scary.

Both rounds were timed and then added together at the end.  Nanny and Taylor were the overall winners!!

Haileys 5th Birthday Party

We moved Hailey's party up a few weeks as she wanted Nanny and Grandad with her, it was short noticed but we pulled it off. She gets very overwhelmed so I didn't want too many people there.  There was only 1 person that couldn't make it.

Nanny brought her over Peppa Pig party stuff, she was so excited but didn't want anyone using them,lol. She was fine with it when we told her we would try and find so proper ones that could be washed.

Glad we can do birthdays when we have our special visitors.

Grandad was the life of the party.

They all had such a fun time.

Balloon "hot potato" was a huge hit.

She got some lovely presents from her friends.

Hailey has a "thing" every time she sees birthday cake she HAS to stick her face in it.  She thinks this is absolutely hilarious. The one thing she asked for was a cake so she could put her face in it. I love my girl.

A little shocked here as Grandad pushed her face down further than she intended, she is so fun.

After the party Rya had to leave so we hit the pool. Well Hailey was a little overwhelmed and clung to her Nanny.
