Squidgy

I find ALL of my gift bags cut up and taped together to look like a pirate ship. Hmm was I mad? Nope, maybe I should have been but I have been wanting the kids to use their imagination more, so I guess I asked for it.

City Science Fair

If you win either first, second or third place in your school science fair, you are eligible to enter the City science fair.  It is all the schools up against each other.

 Masie was in the Medicine/Health category and won 2nd place! I am so super proud of her.  There were a total of 173 projects there. She beat the best of the best.

Masie is so serious about her studies, I just really hope it continues. This young lady is going to change the world.

Reading Time

I love to read to my girls, shamefully I do no do it as often as I should.  Anyway, Hailey had her first library book check out the other day and she was so excited to read it together.

 Taylor loves to play hairdresser so was doing my hair.

 Masie, well, hmmm I'm not sure what she is doing but we sure did have a good time.

I love being a Mummy.

Drop Dead Fred

 

Ever watched "Drop Dead Fred?"  It was, OK is my favorite movie. My Best friend Cookie and I watched it all the time.  The girls love it, they think it is hilarious. (note, you may want to watch it first as I am not the best Mum and its not really appropriate for little kids)

 Anyway, Fred and Elizabeth Make a Mud pie and make a complete mess of the family dinning room.  We decided to reenact this part but outside.

 It was so super fun, we even put Chris' old Underwear in there to make it extra gross. We threw everything in there and mixed it all up!!

 Doesn't look too bad huh?!

Maddie

 

Maddie just loves her cousins, because of the time difference seeing her on Skype is rare these days. Every Friday she goes to Nanny's house and Maddie and the Girls send each other video messages every week.  Its just adorable!!

 This Friday we were able to hang out on Skype for a while as the girls were off school.  It was so cool watching them play, I just wish there wasn't a screen in front of them:(

Sleep Talking

Taylor has just come into my room after being asleep for a few hours.
Me- whats up baby
Taylor - I cant go in there
Me- where?
Taylor - Points to the TV
Me- The TV?
Taylor- Yes
Me- Why baby?
Taylor- Masie is in there
Me- You cant go into the TV because masie is in there?
Taylor- (nods)
Me- Whats she doing in the TV?
Taylor- with nature
Me- Whats she doing with nature?
Taylor- (looks at me like im crazy) I dont know!! And goes back to bed.

Family Time

Last weekend we had a great Saturday just hanging out.  We went to the Zoo and had a game of Tennis.

 Not sure if they like coffee so Chris offered anyway:-)

A Little Bit of Snow= Huge fun

We have been lucky the last few years to get snow at least once a year, the girls just love it. Well for about 20 minutes and then they are freezing and need hot chocolate and blankets.

We love our Neighbours, they have SIX girls!! But that just means the girls have friends their age right next door.  Here is Therese, Emily and Catherine.
