Pictures are in no order, lets just go with it.... Pretty sure that Taylor has Mono again, fever going on 9 days now with back to back meds and swollen glands that are painful to touch. We may take her to the doctor tomorrow if the glands are still swollen but other than that she is OK, her fever has been low for 2 days now and she has been herself today, told me her body is full of giggles which I thought was super cute. I haven't taken her to the doctors before now as I was sure they would admit her, and after last time and they practically killed her I was confident we could do a better job at home as there is no cure for Mono. Anyway... Christmas Eve, I set my alarm twice in the night to give Taylor medicine as I was determined that she was going to have a Christmas morning that every child wishes for. It worked, she was fever free and she started going down hill in the late afternoon.
We all got so many fabulous and thoughtful presents and we are very thankful.
One funny story, Masie got an Electric scooter from Santa and I was showing her how it worked, yes in the house. I shoot off so fast, screaming and hearing roaring laughter coming from Taylor and "let go of the throttle" from Chris and I slam into the laundry room and fall over with my butt in the air. Then I realized what the throttle was, lol. So Masie said that's not how you do it, she takes it from me and shoots off in the other direction, screaming and roaring laughter from Taylor and a very loud "Let go of the throttle" from Chris and she slams into Taylors door, literally. OMG fabulous, you should have seen the vein on Chris's neck.
We started as always on our bed opening stockings, this is always a blast, I just love the atmosphere of Christmas morning.
Masie AKA Katniss The Girl on Fire, got a bow and arrow set, just a toy to start with but she was so happy.
Limited addition Jersery!!
The kids enjoyed giving us gifts this year that they had made, Taylors gift for Chris was in this huge box, it was the thing on his head and a sticker, they laughed!
Hailey was awesome, she loved all her gifts and wanted to play with them all immediately.
Another fabulous Christmas with my wonderful family.
