Halloween

Halloween was so fun this year. We did no costumes, not street walking, no asking strangers for candy. We had plain old awesome fun.  First was the Jello bobbing challenge. We each had a tray of Jello with grapes in, this first person to get all their grapes from one place to the next without using hands, won. Our winner was Taylor.
 They had a great time.

Pablo and Rex were dying to have a try, we let them have a little lick when we were done.
Time for total blackout!! Mashed banana, bean noodles, raw egg, and celery and carrot.  It was so fun to watch them.
Taylor wanted her Nanny at this point as last time we did it she was right there with her. She soon carried on when we told her the clock was ticking,

Tasters! Chocolate spread, pears, cheese its and dried mango.

Its amazing what taking away a sense such as sight out of the equation can do, it messes with your head.
Happy Halloween

Red Ribbon Week

Teaching the kids about drugs and the dangers are very important at a young age, this whole week focuses on anti drugs.
1. Hats off to Drug........ Wear a hat
 2. I forgot the slogan for this day...... Wear sunglasses
3.Drugs are unBEARable, bring a bear to school. (i didn't do pictures this day.
4. Turn your back on drugs...... Backwards day
 5. I forgot this slogan too....... Crazy hair day

I got up at 5.50am to get everybodies hair done and fabulous for school.

We are all doing great in school. While I'm here and who know when I will blog next I will give a little update:
Masie, she is doing so good and a straight A student. She got a B on reading aloud and managed to pull that grade up before the report cards came out.  Some of the math that comes home with her goes way over my head, and I secretly think "please don't need help".
Taylor is doing Great also, she got all A's and B's on her report card. She is learning Money and graphs at the moment, I'm enjoying helping her in the evenings.
Hailey is also fabulous, taking pride in everything she does. She got all C's on this report card with one B. Being it was her first report card she rocked it!! She is struggling a little on blending sounds to make words but she is quickly coming around with practice.
Me, well I'm doing great, I'm having far more good days than bad now. I really love what I do, I'm happy... Most days

Random

Taylor and Hailey are so funny, I found them like this one night.
This is my attempt at a Halloween costume, for some reason I am angry at Halloween and don't even want to do it. For no reason apart from it costs so much money and for what?? To have your kids dress up and beg for candy, its all wrong??
Hailey was star of the week this week, she was super excited!!
 How pretty is my Taylor:-)
Pablo looking cute and enjoying life.

Smart Girls

My girls are so smart, all three got awards on Friday.  Masie and Taylor got the Blue Honor Roll award for getting all A's and B's on their report card. They also got a terrific kid award.  Taylor and Hailey got the Bobcat award which means they are kind and respectful everyday, only one child per class can get this award.

Giggles Mean Trouble

FIRST, MUM YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO READ THIS POST. YOU WILL GET WAY TOO MUCH ENJOYMENT OUT OF IT.

Now, lets face it, my kids are no angels! Masie has just started physio on her neck as its causing her problems, today I had to take all three kids. It was going fine because they no how to act  were threatened to behave. Hailey and Taylor ask to use the bathroom, a few minutes later I hear giggles and jump from my seat in search for the trouble makers.  I demand the door is opened immediately and I find the sink over filled with soap bubbles, its down the sides and on the mirror. ARE.YOU.FREAKING.KIDDING.ME

Trying not to make more of a scene I calmly clean up the mess and sit back down we have a little chat:
Me- You two are in so much trouble when you get home
Taylor- I'm so sorry I wont do it again I promise
Hailey- OK
Me- What the hell was going through your mind when you thought that flooding the physios bathroom was a good idea?
Taylor- I don't know
Hailey- (Smiling)

Telling Chris on the phone what happened on the phone he was not happy when we arrived home.
Chris- Taylor, sweep the floor and clean up after the dogs
Taylor- Yes Daddy
Chris- Hailey, clean the playroom and help your sister outside
Hailey- OK, (smiling)

Dinner is on the table, they wash their hands and sit to eat.  Taylor knows she did wrong and is being very polite and good. Hailey doesn't give a sh*t. She doesn't like the food.

Hailey- I don't want to eat this
Chris- Eat it or go to your room
Hailey- OK ill go to my room, bye
Chris- (after a few minutes, shouts Hailey) Hailey if you don't eat your dinner you will stay in your room until tomorrow
Hailey- Yay I love my room, I can read and play all night
OMG.SHE.IS.MAKING.US.CRAZY

Me- (Go into her room) Hailey, do you want to go out front and play with your friends?
Hailey- Eyes light up, YES
Me- Too bad, good night Hailey
Hailey- Starts crying
Me- FINALLY!! Tears, that's all I wanted, the little shit!!

Taylor and Dante

First, I got permission from the parent to post these pictures. This is one of my kids in my classroom, Taylor LOVES him. She plays with him every lunch recess and he adores her. He is non verbal but he can certainly express himself.

He is such a little cutie, hard work but cute:-)
Taylor was delighted when I brought this home for her from Dante, it now hangs by her bed.
She did a picture back for him and it brought tears to his Moms eyes, its his first picture from a friend.
She has such a sweet heart, I hope she never loses that.
