Chris surprised me with a lovely trip to the Coeur d'Alene for my 40th birthday and our 19th anniversary.
It was so wonderful to get away. We started with lovely massages... well, mine was lovely. It all began when the masseuse asked if we were ready and under the sheets. I shouted yes, but Chris was not under the sheet, nor was he ready. So they walked in as Chris was trying to get under the sheets as quickly as possible because he was just in his underwear. Chris apparently made his masseuse mad as she beat the crap out of him. Confirmed his disabilities due to military and tried to "fish him". Sadly he could not be fixed. I kept hearing painful sounds and "are you okay". Meanwhile my massage was so relaxing. To end the massage my guy placed a hot towel on my feet, so lovely. Chris jumped in the air because his towel was 475 degrees and burned the crap out of his feet.
We took a lovely stroll on the beach and sat with our feet in the water. A sweet dog and his owner were playing next to us. The owner said he was 7 months old and so gentle. Next thing we knew he chased a wave and had Chris's foot in his mouth. I nearly peed myself laughing.
Parasailing was freaking fantastic though. A little high for my comfort level but was an amazing experience.
Dinner time! We were just laughing about the message when our waitress introduced herself. Sweet girl but awkward as hell. She kept dropping things, and forgetting what she was doing. It wasn't too much of a problem until she needed to pour Chris's sauce over his steak. The sauce was on fire, she looked so nervous and said "I think this is how you pour it." Chris's face was the absolute best! Pure "shit this is going to hurt look" she started pouring and it was clear that this wasn't going to end well. Chris jumped back to save his legs. She didn't drop any though but it was hilarious... for me.
