Is now up for sale. It may be a little early but the housing market is rough right now so we wanted a head start.

Goodbye Mrs Tade

We had a surprise this week, not a good one.  Mrs Tade has decided to leave Beuna Vista and work with the DD pre schoolers at North. When I first found out I was a little mad that she could do this half way through the year and leave the kids having subs until a teacher is found. But, she has control of her life and her decisions and this has been a position she has wanted for a long time.  Now I'm just plain sad, we shed some tears, Hailey is very upset.

 She has now had all three of my girls and started them off wonderfully.  Wishing Hailey gets a replacement soon and continues to blossom.

2nd Place Baby

After a lot of hard work and practicing speeches Masie won 2nd place in the science fair.

 Now she has earned a place in the city science fair next month, so we shall see how that goes.

 I am beyond proud of this little lady.

Sunday Post

Welly is getting so big that we have to bathe him in the bath now.

Every child loves a fort, the girls played for hours in here.

Taylor is going through this weird stage of being scared of everything, she has a lot of nightmares and the only thing that soothes her is having Hailey sleeping next to her.

Our lovely bunny Mango getting some love, he just loves to be held like a baby, he always falls asleep.

Wish Masie luck for the science fair, here is her finished board "The Five Second Rule" Question- Is the five second rule safe to follow? After all the research and experiments the answer was more than clear. No it is not safe to follow.

We had a great time putting it together, going to the library and doing the experiments. She now just has to practice as the science fair is this week! Ahhh, she is nervous but she will do wonderful

Finally a Welcome

Welcome to my next blog, its already the 12 of January, how did that happen? Life is moving quickly it seems, this year is going to fly by a my challenge is to keep my anxiety at bay and go with the flow.  You see this is our last year here in New Mexico, we are due to leave January of 2014. We could leave 2 months before that time so we could be at our new place before Christmas. I'm scared, nervous, kind of excited..... As much as I want to go and explore the world and this place drives me crazy, its my home and has been for almost 7 years. I have completely changed for the better since being here, I'm confident, happy and in control of my life (most of the time). My life is here, the kids have there school, friends and neighbours. I have my job, my friends and my house. Its all about to change, and if you know me, you will no that change is not my strong point.

We are about to put our house on the market, we have started home improvements.  We could have orders in 8 weeks or 8 months, our life is in the hands of the military. This doesn't mean we will move sooner if we get them in 8 weeks it just means  they get to screw us over longer we get longer to plan.

Where are we moving to? Washington State? Arizona? Montana? Delaware? New York? Or will we get a base overseas? England? Germany? Spain even? The choices are endless but unfortunately they are not ours to make, we can sure ask and put in our preferred bases but as always the Military will send us where ever they want. Lets just hope its where we want to go.

I guess this is my last post, New Years Eve was just us and we had a family game night. 

 Hailey made it to 11.10pm followed shortly by Taylor and briefly Masie but she got up and watched the ball drop with us.

Hailey's First Tooth

December 30th 2012 was a very exciting night, Hailey's tooth was very wobbly and she was determined to get it out.

 With a little help from Daddy that tooth didn't have a chance. She was so super excited, it made her go loopy.

 She put her tooth under her pillow and couldn't wait to get her "gold money".

I realized that this will be our last, first tooth. Babies no more..... LOVE my big girlie's.

Ice Skating

 

CloudCroft has an ice rink, this is the first year we actually have been.  We were super excited about going and then............ Hailey throws up all over the car.  We forget every time that with Hailey's ears being the way they are she gets sick whenever the elevation gets high. 

 So we clean her up, luckily it doesn't go on her clothes just all over the chairs, books on the floor and car seats, but her clothes were fine,lol.

 Turns out that Taylor is my sister, yes Maxine Loftus!! Its too cold, my fingers hurt blah blah. So her and Hailey sat by the fire most of the time.

 Me, Chris and Masie had a blast!! It was a lot of fun.

 View was lovely and distracted us slightly from the vomit smell in the back of the car.
