Airforce Ball

 One of the best nights we have had in the military. For some unknown reason yesterday I finally felt wonderful and honored to be a spouse of a military member.

 We got all dressed up and I got to play princess for the night.

 This happens quite a lot when you have children. Love it!

 One of my lovely friends, Wendy. We went dress shopping together and hado a great time dancing and loving life.

 It was very fancy.

 My boy is amazing!

 Max! Max is such a great person and works so well with our kids at school.

Journey Back From DC....

...is an adventure. A huge storm hit and their flight was delayed for 6 hours. Then they couldn't get a pilot... Got a pilot and then the fight attendants timed out, they could only find 2 that could come in so the flight was eventually cancelled after 10 hours patiently waiting.

Update this morning was there are zero flights going to Salt Lake or anywhere helpful. World Strides are working so hard to figure this out.

Next update, they have to leave DC by bus as a parade is coming to town and apparently a big deal so there are no hotels for them to stay in... You can't make this stuff up, lol. I'm trying to keep Masie positive and treat it as an adventure, she is doing well under the circumstances.

They were supposed to be home Thursday at 11pm. Its now Friday night and they are still stranded. Top it off, they are not even close to getting home. They are thinking possibly Monday morning, this almost pushed Masie over her limit. She is homesick and not feeling well. On the plus side, World Strides and Mr. Dormaier are putting together some more fun activities.
