Sun? Really? We are Going Out

Over the past few weeks we haven't had a break from the dark foggy days. It doesn't bother me too much because I know that Summer will soon come. In fact unless its icy, I actually enjoy the frost on the trees and the fresh cold air. But, today we had a break from that it was 50 degrees out, the sun was shinning and we had the windows wide open. We had our wall all prepped and ready to paint. We left it right there and went for a hike. It was wonderful, still snow on the ground but warm enough to wear just a sweater. It was wonderful, we walked and found a cute little cafe where we had a cup of coffee and a snack. Good times!

Dr. Seuss Photo Shoot

For Christmas my friend gave the girls this awesome Thing shirts, I've already had a lot of fun with them. Then my Aunt sent us a surprise, shirts for Chris and Me.
Mine says "Mother of all Things" and Chris's says "Drunk 2"
It was so fun to act silly and take random pictures.
 True Dr. Seuss style photos.

Many laughs in our house tonight.

Ice Skating

Chris and I took the girls ice skating in the park. It was a new experience for us really. We went in NM once but didn't last long. We all had an interesting time trying to get around the ice, well apart from Masie and Chris. At one point Hailey was done, she was cold!! She got off the ice, put Chris's coat around her and pulled her hat down. I let her have her moment and then we went back on the ice for round two:)

The End of 2014

Well the time has come to say goodbye to another year. A year that was full of change, laughs, hard times, great times, tears but over all a wonderful year.
This is a new year, a brand new book to write. Lets write a good one, one where we step out of our comfort zones a little. I want this year to be full of success and dreams, fun and opportunities. I want to learn to forgive so I have no sad thoughts in my head. I want to live big!

New Hair

Another moment of stepping out there, brand new hair with a great friend. Starting the new year off right.
