Well This Happened

So Taylor manages to fracture her foot 2 weeks before competition. She is absolutely heartbroken but we are doing everything we can to heal it quickly.

 

Skiing With Just One Child

 Sadly Masie had been sick the whole week and was unable to join us on the mountain. Then, Hailey sprained her ankle the evening before... As tickets were already paid for and gear already rented, Chris, Taylor and I hit the slopes. It was a really great day until I got stuck on a slope and ended up walking down.

Taylor wanted me to go down a short blue slope with her and I wasn't quite ready. I fell pretty hard withing the first 5 seconds, so hard that a little pee came out lol. I got up and fell, tried again and fell. It was ugly, embarrassing and did nothing but damage what pride I had. However, when it was over it turned into a really funny story so all is great.

My host teacher bought me this shirt during my student teaching. I loved every single second of student teaching and I can't wait to have my own classroom!

edTPA

The edTPA was the last assignment in my degree. To say this was a stressful time is a joke! I've never in my life been so upset with school work. The amount of work that was required to check off their stupid unrealistic bullet points was just annoying. No wonder we have a shortage of teachers. I bought myself a cake after completing and PASSING the edTPfuckingA while student teaching!
